A Guide to Implementing the Theory of Constraints
Advanced Section – PowerPoint Presentations – Systems & Structure
There is a superb book on John Boyd by Frans Osinga.? It must be superb because I have tried to read this book on two occasions prior and got “stuck” each time on chapter 3 – science.? So third-time around I started from the back and read back to chapter 2.? It was the numerous references to Piaget’s book Structuralism that sent me in search of it.? The consequence is below.
The link below is to my powerpoint.? It is in .ppsx format; that is it is a slideshow.? It should download and run in presentation mode for you.? If experience shows that it opens in editing mode, and your system offers the prompt “open, save, save as” then select save and then open and it will run for you.
Theory of Constraints is systemic.? It is about the common good.? And a common theme that I have used many times is that we make errors of logical type which cause us no end of grief.? Actually there are many common themes in the presentation.? But it is really Piaget’s rubric for structuralism; wholeness, transformation, and self-regulation that has allowed me to hang a whole lot of things together in one place.? Have a look see what you think.
